Dave came to Simply Red on the Home album in 2003 and stayed till nowadays. He is the regular band member engaged not only on keyboards and piano playing but also as the composer from time to time. They are currently promoting their new album Blue Eyed Soul and rehearsing for the upcoming tour. Exciting times!
During his illustrious career, David performed and recorded with many other great musicians of our time. He was a band member of ABC for three years and has also toured with George Michael, Marc Almond and Jason Donovan to name a few. He has recorded with the likes of U2, Bob Marley, Sinead O’Connor, Depeche Mode, Paul McCartney, George Michael/Elton John, The Beloved and Robbie Williams.
Wearing his producer hat he has worked with Take That (Babe), The Human League, Kraftwerk, Les Mckeown and Lenny Henry. He also has writing credits for Sinead O’Connor, Bomb the Bass, Michael Hutchence and ABC.
